DANCE
This was a great couple to work with, the location and time of the day was perfect. Here Im using the sun as the backlight to outline the couple and a little bit of fill light with a reflector. Its a type of silhouette that still captures the complexion and emotion of the couples romance.
BAY PASSION
Passion between lovers at the edge of the ocean. We can control the light and exposures but we cant exactly control the weather. This shot was taken in San Francisco on a sunny day. Dropping the exposure and having enough external light source will paint the artists imagination and create the mood you want to see.
NICE TOUCH
It’s ok to have a little fun during a wedding shoot. There is more to life than just tradition and conformity. You can capture the wedding day and you can add the everyday life to the scene. The guy likes coca cola, and loves His bride, all on top of the hill overseeing the great city of San Francisco.
SUMMER SNOW
Sometimes you don’t know what you’ll be doing till you get to your location. In this particular shot, I saw something and had to incarnate the vision. This was at a park, I climbed a tree to shoot this off the top of a branch. Mission accomplished.
VINTAGE ALLEY
It helps to scout your locations. This was in an alley, and it just so happens there were two chairs waiting for us. You won’t know of places like this unless you take the time out of your day to snoop around the city.
